DAVE’S TRANMISSIONS

September 11, 2001 changed everything including his plans and outlooks and for the first time in his life he clearly knew he was where God had placed him.

Since then, with the exception of marrying his love and wife Rebecca, he had never again had that kind of moment with the clarity and confidence and vision of where God wanted him to be.

Until September 11, 2025 when he launched Dave’s Transmissions. Between September 11, 2001 and now, he has lived and worked in Japan for 5 years, Spain for 3 years, Italy for 2 years, British Indian Ocean Territory for 14 months, Florida for 3 years, California 2 years, and has operated in 21 countries leading Service members in several complex and dangerous missions.

His final tour was in Ft. Sam Houston, TX as a Preventive Medicine Instructor.

He is trained and experienced in Emergency and Preventive Medicine, Instructional Techniques, Anti-Terrorism, and the art of Leadership. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Arts in Public Policy from Liberty University. He is qualified as a Fleet Marine Force, Surface and Air warfare specialist and is the recipient of 4 Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, 3 Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, along with several other unit and individual citations.

A severe Covid infection along with pneumonia led him to retire after 21 years with the rank of Chief Petty Officer, but his initial goal was to become a Master Chief Petty Officer. After extensive prayer, consideration, and conversations with loved ones and mentors, he chose to retire in August 2022.  After retirement, he served as the Texas Director of Grassroot Operations for the LIBRE Initiative until January 2024.

But what he is most defined by and grateful for is his relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ along with his amazing wife since December 2006, Rebecca, and their beautiful daughters, Niah and Gianna.

David has depended on the help, prayers, and encouragement of family, good friends, and wise mentors. He’s also a gym rat, bookworm, and movie lover.

David’s Transmissions is a platform intended to facilitate a balanced conversation between authenticity and grit, along with the sensitivity and grace that can accompany intense content. The genres discussed are Health Affairs, National Security, Economic Opportunity, Education, Patriotism, History and Science.
